GoTurlock is a free web application that aggregates publicly available local event information in Turlock, California. The Service provides:

• Geocoding services provided by Google Maps Platform

• Authentication services provided by Google, Apple OAuth, and email magic links via Resend (see our Privacy Policy for details)

5. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

Your Responsibilities: If you choose to create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google, Apple, or email account
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

7. Account Termination

Termination by You: You may delete your account at any time using the "Delete account" option in the user menu when signed in. Upon deletion:

• Your account will be immediately and permanently deleted
• All associated data (profile, sessions, linked accounts) will be removed
• This action cannot be undone
• Your submissions will NOT be deleted and will remain publicly visible

Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in prohibited activities as described in Section 5
• Your account shows signs of unauthorized access or compromise
• We are required to do so by law

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access the Service through your account ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

The GoTurlock name, logo, and original code are owned by Matthew Davies. Event information displayed on the Service is aggregated from public sources and remains the property of its original publishers. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Matthew Davies and GoTurlock from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
